Hi ppl im back.... well the one interesting/ different thing tat happened this week was my quick visit to cbe.. The whole purpose of this visit was to attend Abi's Sister's reception. Both of us(me and Ramya) werent able to get leave for more than 1 day here...And we wanted to attend it... So we had no other choice than to make the trip in 3 days... that is (911*2) km in just 3 days... and we dint travel by flight also;-))))) so nw u can imagine hw tiring it would hav been..
Well to go into the details... v started in the famous Sabari express, the only direct train that connects cbe and hyd on friday afternoon... though i hav a passion for travelling, i hate this particular journey.. its nearly 20 hours...and we would get totally bored up and pissed off... i usually carry a book with me for this travel... bt this time it so happened tat i couldnt get one... and so wat else me and Ramya were just wailing away our time chatting chatting all the while... v chatted so much that we got bored of each other;-))))))))) one nice thing here was tat the climate was cool throughout... of course the coin has both sides... and so the bad part of it was as always the train food was awful.... dry chapathi with a tasteless sabji... But we had no other go than to eat it:-((((((( Then we finally did reach the great CBE at 9 the next morning... and as always my mom had prepared a delightful breakfast for both of us... hmmm it tasted awesome especially after that bad chapathi... it always does... there s no equal to home food... is it nt???!!!????
Fine now coming to the purpose of this visit, "THE RECEPTION"... yep we decided with other girls from Blore to start around 6.30 for the reception... and surprisingly, believe me ,we almost made it... the reception was total fun and i felt like being back in college again... the usual chat, ootals and all tat stuff... the guys came with a big gift pack... though we kept pestering them they refused to reveal wat was inside... so i was damn sure it was some silly thing ;-))))))) Then as our class always does, we went to the stage as a group and wished the couple... after a long time we went like tat so it felt good....Then we had a yummy yummy dinner... Hmm the chattering went on for a while... bt by then the time was 9.30... and we were the only ppl there except the family members... so we had to leave:-(((((((((( oh mine i forgot to make a mention abt the heroine of tat place Abilasha.... She looked gorgeous, all set to become the next bride;-)))))))) Leave her, ppl who came there were all so well dressed tat we looked totally out of place there...
Our return journey started on sunday afternoon:-((((((( this time we dint get a direct train and had to goto Blore and then from there to hyd... first part of journey thro train and 2nd thro bus.... always the cheer quotient would miss in the return journey.... moreover this was a very short trip so obviously tiredness added to boredom.... nothing much to say abt it... hmm ya v reached back safely on monday morn at 9 and even managed to goto office that day...
Though the whole trip was damn tedious, both of us felt very happy and became very nostalgic after it... It was sort of a getto( though only 20 of us had come) and it was nice... thanks to Abi for keeping the reception on saturday... the main reason for the high turnout ratio.... and here i do want to make a mention abt hw different everyone seemed to me nw as compared to coll days... its just a year... bt i felt the difference(in terms of both appearance and attitude) in most of them ..... dunno hw many ppl felt the same abt me;-))
Well the crux of this story is that i became aware of hw monotonous and mechanical my life now has become... and hw badly i miss my coll days... golden period of life.... In coll i had always thought earning and living independently would feel great... bt definitely no , its nw tat i realise, ther s no equal to coll life.... im sure u ppl would agree with me.... dont you??!!!???
