'THE BOOK' I read

Hi ppl a big hiiiii to all of u... well it has almost been a month since i wrote my previous post... in case if any of u were wondering wat held me up so long , as the blog title says it was a BOOK(to be exact it was a single book in 4 parts)... To describe it just as a book would be totally undermining it..... It was a lifetime experience reading it..... I was actually transported to that world completely and soon they became a subject of my dreams as well;-)))))

Fine guys i just dont wanna prolong my blah blah blah abt the book without mentioning its name... it is a historical tamil novel 'Sivagamiyin Sabadham' by Kalki(a well known author)..... Its a really really famous book(it might ring a bell somewher for most of u)...

From what i had written so far u might hav concluded that im a great fan of tamil books... well the fact is im now bt nt previously(i knw im confusing u all too much... he he he:-))) bcos it was just the 4th tamil novel i hav read so far , inspite of my love for books... Now to go on to how it all started(that is my passion for reading tamil books).... I was reading only english novels for many years, when one fine day just 4 months back my father asked me to try 'Ponniyin Selvan' , a novel written by the same author 'Kalki'...

I always had the feeling that tamil novels would be very cosmetic and descriptive that would interest only Grannies... But i was proved wrong very soon... i was really taken aback by the excellent narrative style of the author... and then decided to read these kind of books more n more... from then on i was craving to read all works of Kalki especially SS and finally got hold of that a fortnight back... its needless to mention tat i had no time for blogging, browsing n all tat after it.. Even going to office was irritating those days:-(((((( Was satisfied(infact elated) only after i read it...

Well now next, contrary to all ur expectations, im nt gonna write a review of these books... im no good to do tat either.... All i would say is it portrays the life of ppl during the early pallava-pandiya-chola-chera period in tamilnadu(i knw it would sound good to mention the year here bt well im nt writing a history book to do so:-))))))))))) so explore it out urself.... ) Both are real stories portrayed with some elements(appropraite amount) of imagination....

Well i hav said enuf abt the books... to give a finishing touch, if u are a person interested in all these historical stuff, then dont even pause to think, get hold of them immediately.... believe me u will thoroughly enjoy it...

Even for those who felt this whole blog was just meaningless nonsense, u can also give a try... Weird experiments now n then wont hurt much....

Ok guys well nw its time for me to go hunting for the next work of Kalki...(so dont wonder if i disappear for a month again:-)))))))) meanwhile u ppl either decide to ignore all this blah blah or trust me n go find the books( i knw i knw u would hav already opted for the second... hav fun reading:-)))))))))) do share ur comments as well after reading them:-))))))

Exploring new things

After coming to Hyderabad my desire to explore new things in life has risen quite a lot.... It might be partially bcos of my present diversifying interests(may be ;-))))))) and partially or in fact 75% bcos im totally vetti with nothing to do here especially in weekends... My option of going home frequently is also spoilt bcos of the distance criteria... so no way other than thinking and implementing strange things....

One such thing that i hav started recently is MUSIC classes.... wait wait i knw most of you would hav already imagined me with a guitar in my hand... but oops ur wrong.... im into KEYBOARD not guitar (so definitely varanam aayiram has nothing to do with this present venture of mine:-))))))) Actually to be frank im not a person who s too much interested or passionate abt music... my whole intention of starting this was to goto some class and to find some way out of this monotonous lifestyle.... Hmm bt even then the implementation part of this idea has taken almost 3 months.... we enquired abt t place n all tat stuff nearly 2 months back... bt only Last sunday we went for our first class...

Oh i forgot to mention an important thing... i even hav company for these classes(jo and prasanna)... And that explains the 'we' part of it tat i hav mentioned... Both of them equally vetti and bored like me... Jo and me are into keyboard... while Prasanna has decided to go in for Guitar... he has vowed to go on with it until he is able to play Nenjukkul Peithidum Mamazhai;-))))))))) Thank God Harris jayaraj is not aware of all this....

Well now coming to my class, it was actually different... tats the real word to explain hw i felt abt it... i hav nvr been aware of anything in music earlier... nt even an ounce of it... so the experience was totally new... tat master told us regarding notes and keys and all such stuff... it was just an hrs class and it was infact nice and interesting:-))))))))) I enjoyed doing it and hav even decided to buy one keyboard very soon and start playing at home...

So beware ppl another A.R. Rahman is already taking shape...

And your requests to listen to my playing would be addressed on first come first served basis:-)))))) So hurry up and book your slot soon before its too late;-))))))
